Cagayan Real Estate Forum –The recent forum was more than just an industry gathering—it was, in the words of REBAP National President CRB Carla Calleja, “a landmark of unity. We have gathered not as competitors, but as a single, unstoppable force.”
Leaders from PRC PRBRES, DHSUD, DILG, SHFC, HSAC, Pag-IBIG, LRA, and professional organizations like NREA and PAREB joined brokers and salespersons to affirm a shared mission: excellence, legality, and service to the Filipino people.

A Movement of Professionals
To the many salespersons who have just taken their oath, CRB Carla Calleja reminded them: “You are joining the backbone of the Philippine economy. Regardless of the organization you call home, you are now part of a movement.”
REBAP lives by the principle: “One REBAP, One Impact.” But as CRB Carla Calleja emphasized, “today, that impact extends to every professional here who commits to excellence and legality.”
Translating Technicalities into Mission
CRB Carla Calleja underscored that the sessions were “more than just lectures; they are the roadmap for our practice.” Each theme carried a deeper meaning for the profession:
- The Impact of Legitimacy: “Your compliance with PRBRES Resolution 158 is your badge of honor. It separates the professional from the ‘unlicensed’ and ensures that you operate under a structure of mentorship.”
- The Impact of Service: “Through the 4PH program, we aren’t just selling units; we are facilitators of dignity for every Filipino family, bridging the housing gap one door at a time.”
- The Impact of Security: “By mastering LRA eSerbisyo and HSAC regulations, we become the first line of defense for the Filipino consumer, ensuring a modern and transparent industry.”
REBAP’s Commitment to Growth
REBAP has transformed into an engine of professional growth. CRB Carla Calleja declared: “We don’t just advocate; we execute.”
1. Elevating Education
Through the REBAP Academy, monthly webinars feature homegrown trainers preparing for PRC accreditation. With nearly 90 speakers in the pipeline, the organization is building a strong foundation for knowledge-sharing.
Last year alone, REBAP held 24 CPD seminars and 32 Real Estate Brokerage Service Trainings. This year, three specialized Masterclasses will sharpen the industry’s competitive edge.
2. Bridging Academics and Industry
REBAP has signed MoUs with BS REM colleges nationwide, including Mapua, Southville International, College of St. Benilde, and Lyceum of the Philippines. CRB Carla Calleja explained: “We aren’t just waiting for graduates; we are mentoring them before they graduate, accepting them as OJTs, helping enhance their programs and providing resource persons.”
On March 27 in Quezon City, REBAP will host a Quiz Bee for BS REM students alongside the Real Estate Fair and its 1st National General Membership Meeting—an opportunity to celebrate the bright minds entering the profession.
3. Expanding Prosperity
Accreditation programs with key developers allow Certified REBAP Brokers to earn incentives for their teams and chapters, on top of competitive commissions.
The long-term partnership with BPI has already borne fruit. CRB Carla Calleja proudly announced: “I am proud to say that we have officially reached our broker referral target for 2025!”
REBAP continues to empower all 54 chapters, advocating for streamlined licensing, stricter enforcement of the law, and investing in digital infrastructure to connect professionals nationwide.
Guardians of Integrity
REBAP’s commitment to integrity has been recognized at the highest levels. CRB Carla Calleja shared: “Recently, REBAP was honored by Malacañang for our contributions to AMLC initiatives, which helped remove the Philippines from the Financial Action Task Force graylist.”
This recognition underscores the role of real estate professionals not just as market participants, but as guardians of transparency and trust.
A Call to Action
CRB Carla Calleja closed with a powerful challenge:
- “To my fellow Brokers: let us Lead with mentorship. Our legacy is the integrity of the practitioners we guide.”
- “To our new Salespersons: You are the frontliners. Wear your credentials with pride.”
- “To our key government agencies, patuloy po kaming makikipag-ugnayan at susuporta.”
Together, let us keep building the real estate future the Filipino people deserve.
“Congratulations to the new salespersons! More power to your brokers, and Mabuhay ang Real Estate Professionals sa Cagayan!”
